(WASAGA BEACH, ON) On June 23rd, 2016 Officers from the Huronia West OPP Community Drug Action Team (CDAT) and the Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a search warrant at a residence in Wasaga Beach. As a result of the search 116 grams of marijuana and drug trafficking equipment were seized.
22 year old Austin Barysas of Wasaga Beach is charged with:
Possession of a Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Marihuana – for the Purposes of Trafficking – CDSA 5(2).
The accused is scheduled to appear in Collingwood Court August 30th , 2016.
(SPRINGWATER TWP, ON) A week earlier, the Community Drug Action Team (CDAT) and the Emergency Response Team (ERT) attended an unrelated property in Springwater Township seizing 180 marijuana plants from an outdoor grow operation. The plants were destroyed. The investigation continues.
