Drug Bust – 4 Charged

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Street Crime Unit have charged a 27 year old male, 29 year old male, 40 year old female and a 53 year old male with drug offences after conducting an investigation at a Robinson Street, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Thursday, April 23, 2015 at approximately 9:40 p.m., members of the Street Crime Unit were on patrol in the area of Robinson Street and Talbot Street, when a vehicle and occupants attracted the officer’s attention.

As result of police investigation, four individuals were subsequently arrested and charged. A large quantity of Methamphetamine and Canadian currency was seized.

Charged with the following offences is 27 year old Michael Charles TRAINA of Norfolk County, Ontario.

Possession of Methamphetamine

Possession of Cannabis Marihuana

Possession for the purpose of trafficking Clonazepam

Fail to comply with Probation Order

Charged with the following offences is 29 year old Jay Edward HOOVER of London, Ontario.

Possession for the purpose of trafficking Methamphetamine

Possession of Methamphetamine

Possession of Cannabis Marihuana

Driving while under suspension

Operate a motor vehicle without insurance

Drive motor vehicle – no currently validated permit

Fail to comply with Probation Order

Charged with the following offences is 40 year old Shy Dawn TAGGART, of Norfolk County, Ontario

Possession for the purpose of trafficking Methamphetamine

Possession of Methamphetamine X2

Possession of Methamphetamine (Morphine)

Possession for the purpose of trafficking Clonazepam

Possession of Cannabis Marihuana

Possession of Hashish

Fail to comply with Probation Order

Charged with the following offences is 53 year old Timothy Roy WELLS, of Norfolk County, Ontario

Possession for the purpose of trafficking Methamphetamine

Possession of Cannabis Marihuana

All are to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
