Drug Bust

(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of Haldimand County OPP, and the West Region Emergency Response Team, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a Forest Street, Dunnville, Haldimand County, Ontario address.

On Friday, July 31, 2015, police executed a warrant at the Forest Street address and as a result, police seized numerous prescription pills consisting of oxycodone and hydromorphone, along with cannabis marihuana, and cannabis resin. Police also seized offence related property that consisted of currency and drug trafficking paraphernalia. The combined estimated value of the seized controlled substances was approximately $3,700.

24-year-old Gage LEWIS and 25-year-old Tabitha SUTTCLIFFE both of Dunnville, Ontario are each charged with possession of oxycodone and cannabis marihuana for the purposes of trafficking. They are also charged with production of cannabis marihuana and possession of cannabis marihuana.

24-year-old Martin JACOBS of Dunnville, Ontario is charged with possession of oxycodone and cannabis marihuana for the purposes of trafficking and possession of hydromorphone.

18-year-old Ashley LEWIS of Dunnville, Ontario is charged with possession of cannabis marihuana for the purposes of trafficking and possession of hydromorphone.

All are to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charges.
