(Norfolk County, ON) – Members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Street Crime unit along with members of the West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a Controlled Drug and Substances Act search warrant at a Norfolk County residence on Friday October 21, 2016.
Police attended a Peel Street residence in Simcoe in Norfolk County and located over $10,000 worth of various drugs including cocaine, heroin, fentanyl and marijuana.
Police have arrested and charged:
38-year-old Jacob PARK of Norfolk County with:
Possession of a substance for the purpose of trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances act x 4
Possession of a substance contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances act x 2
Fail to Comply with Probation order contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada x 3
52-year-old Stephen RICHARDS of Norfolk County with:
Possession of a substance for the purpose of trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances act x 4
Fail to Comply with Probation order contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
Possession of the Proceeds of Crime under $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
26-year-old Chantel WETHERUP of Norfolk County with:
Possession of a substance for the purpose of trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances act x 4
Possession of the Proceeds of Crime under $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
Fail to Comply with Probation order contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada x 5
All the involved parties will appear in Norfolk Court at a later date to answer to their charges.
