(WARWICK TOWNSHIP, ON) On November 26, 2013, at around 9:00 p.m., Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were conducting a R.I.D.E. program (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) in the area of Nauvoo road and Egremont road.
A Chevrolet truck pulled into the R.I.D.E. program and officers began an investigation based on odours from the truck and observations of the truck.
As the investigation continued, the passenger, 20 year old Lucas ANNETT of Thames Centre, Ontario was arrested and charged with possession of marihuana and two counts of breach of probation.
The driver, 20 year old Brennan ABBOTT, of Thames Centre, Ontario was served a certificate of offence (ticket) for having open liquor in the motor vehicle.
