(OLD SOUTHERN GEORGIAN BAY TWP, ON)- Just after 6:30pm on July 10, 2016 Southern Georgian Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Fire and Paramedics were notified of a swimmer that had gone under the water and had not surfaced.
Members of the Southern Georgian Bay Fire Department quickly located the male in the water near Whites Falls. CPR was performed by the emergency services at the scene, but without success.
The deceased is a 26 year-old male from Toronto. A Post Mortem has been scheduled for Monday July 11, 2016.
Investigation is continuing into the cause of death. Updates will be done when as they become available.
