(WHITEWATER REGION, ON) – On the evening of March 23, 2017 the Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a complaint of a possible impaired driver in a pickup truck on Highway 17. Officers located and stopped the vehicle on Highway 17 in Whitewater Region Township and the driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol. As a result 58-year old Keith HOLMAN of Arnprior is charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
Driving Motor Vehicle While Ability Impaired by Alcohol
Driving with More than 80 mgs of Alcohol in Blood
Later on the same evening of March 23, 2017 officers received another complaint of a possible impaired driver in a SUV on Highway 17 in Whitewater Region Township. Officers located and stopped the vehicle on Greenwood Road in Laurentian Valley Township and found the driver to be under the influence of alcohol. As a result 30-year old Simon BISKUPSKI of Pembroke is charged with the following CC offences:
Driving Motor Vehicle While Ability Impaired by Alcohol
Driving with More than 80 mgs of Alcohol in Blood
Both men were released on a Promise To Appear and both are schedule to attend court on April 18, 2017 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke. Each man’s license was suspended for 90 days and their vehicles were towed and impounded for 7 days.
