(INGERSOLL, ON.). – On December 18, 2013, at approximately 5:13 pm the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) received a complaint of a vehicle driving in an erratic manner, Eastbound on Karn Road. At approximately 5:21 pm members of O.P.P. received a second complaint regarding a vehicle of the same descriptors that was now in the ditch on Karn Road.
As a result of the investigation, police have charged 54 year old Sandra LETWIN of Woodstock under the Criminal Code of Canada with the following:
Drive While Ability Impaired
Fail or Refuse to Provide Sample
The female was released on a Promise to Appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on January 21, 2014.
On December 19, 2013 at approximately 03:24 am the Oxford County O.P.P. received a complaint of a possible impaired driver. The vehicle and male were located on Thames Street, Ingersoll.
As a result of the investigation, police have issued a 3 day suspension to 29 year old Mathew DAIGLE of Petawawa.
The OPP is reminding drivers that there is no safe amount of alcohol consumption when driving. Stay safe during the holiday season and choose to arrive alive.
