(FAUQUIER, ON) – On August 23, 2015, police conducted a R.I.D.E check in the Village of Fauquier which resulted in several alcohol related criminal charges being laid.
The James Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged Julie TARDIF, 35, of Val Rita, ON with the following offences;
· Adult care or control while ability impaired-motor vehicle contrary section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada as well as,
· Adult care or control with more than 80mgs of alcohol in blood contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada
Furthermore, police have arrested and charged Shamus NORMAN, 31, of Kapuskasing, ON with the following offence;
· Adult care or control with more than 80mgs of alcohol in blood contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada
The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Kapuskasing on October 5, 2015 to answer to the charges.
