(ESSA, ON)- The Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a motor vehicle on County Road 10 in Essa Township on 31st July 2013 at 6.43 pm for speeding 133 km/hr. in a posted 80 km/hr. zone.
The officer detected the odour of alcohol on the driver and subsequently began a drinking and driving investigation resulting in the driver being arrested and returned to the Nottawasaga detachment for further tests.
Kimberly MacNeil age 28 of Essa Township has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and Exceed 80 mgs of Alcohol contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
