DRIVER ON HIGHWAY NEEDED MEDICAL ASSISTANCE

(NORWICH TOWNSIP, ON) -Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to complaint of a possible impaired driver travelling eastbound on the 401 Highway earlier today.

The vehicle, operated by a 61 year old male from Kitchener had struck a tractor trailer while traveling on Highway 401, but continued driving onto the 403 eastbound. Members of Oxford County OPP stopped the vehicle on Highway 403 eastbound.

There no injuries as a result of the collision between the vehicle and the tractor trailer.

The male driver was transported by Oxford County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to a local hospital for a medical assessment.
