(KINCARDINE, ON) – On November 13th, 2010 at 9:25 am, a South Bruce OPP officer was on patrol when a driver was observed using a cell phone on Durham Street near the intersection with Highway 21.
22 year old Kaitlyn FINLEY of Port Elgin has been charged with Driving a motor vehicle while using a handheld communication device. Motorists are reminded if their vehicle is in motion; the driver MUST use a hands free system with their cell phones. The roadside fine for this offence is $155.00.
