(PEMBROKE, ON) – The driver who was seriously injured in the August 12th collision on Mud Lake Road in the City of Pembroke has died in hospital. Dead is 25 year old Alexander Joseph SPIDLE of Whitewater Region Township.
Officers from the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the single vehicle collision just after 730am on August 12th after a 2011 Ford SUV left the roadway and stuck a utility pole. The Pembroke Fire Department were called to the scene to provide extrication services. The collision closed Mud Lake Road between Paul Martin Drive and Sawmill Road for several hours. OPP’s Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) are assisting with the investigation.
