(MUNICIPALITY OF MEAFORD, ON) – The driver of the vehicle has been identified and police are satisfied there is no concern for public safety.

Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is looking to speak with the driver of a white pick-up truck following a suspicious male reported to police on September 17, 2014. Between 8:10 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. on September 17, 2014 an 11 year old was waiting for the school bus when the pick-up truck stopped and the male driver asked “are you waiting for the bus or coming with me?†The child ignored the male driver and he drove off without any further comment.
The truck is described as a newer model white Dodge Ram, 4 doors, with a short box and a soft black tonneau cover.
The driver is described as approximately 60 years old, heavy set, with short grey hair and a goatee. He was wearing a grey sweater at the time.
