(TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH) – On April 16,2016, Officers of the Nottawasaga Detachment, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), responded to a multi vehicle collision on Mill Street, in Tottenham.
Investigation revealed that a Dodge vehicle had been travelling westbound on Mill Street, and became airborne while crossing the railway tracks. The vehicle then struck four other cars, which were parked and unattended. It also struck a vehicle which was temporarily stopped to discharge a passenger causing that vehicle to collide with a vehicle parked facing eastbound.
Charged with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, contrary to Section 249 (1) of the Criminal Code of Canada, is 56 year old, Brenda ELMER, of 4 Line, Tottenham, Ontario.
