(KIRKLAND LAKE, ON.) – Members of the Kirkland Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a local man with several criminal offences. The charges stem from police attempting to stop a motor vehicle on Woods Street in Kirkland Lake.
The driver of the vehicle failed to stop for police and fled the scene southbound on Woods Street. The incident culminated with the driver stopping the vehicle at a residence located on Queen Street in Kirkland Lake. The driver was subsequently arrested and taken into custody. The incident occurred at approximately 1:00 a.m. on April 5, 2014.
Charged with Flight While Pursued by Peace Officer, Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Resist Arrest is Martyn ROSKO age 28 of Kirkland Lake. He was remanded into custody pending a bail hearing.
