(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – A female driver has been charged as a result of an investigation into a single vehicle rollover Friday night. On Friday February 14, 2014 at approximately 10:41 p.m. Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision on Catherine Street west of Shaw Road in the Municipality of Thames Centre.
When police arrived on scene it was discovered the driver had been drinking and was impaired. The driver was arrested and transported to the London OPP detachment for further testing. As a result of the investigation, police charged Nancy HOPPER, age 28 of Thames Centre with impaired driving and over 80.
The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear in a London court room on March 18, 2014 to speak to the charges.
