(NORWICH TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On December 29, 2013 at 11:22 a.m., the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a two vehicle, motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Middletown Line at Curries Road, in Norwich Township.
The collision occurred when a Ford vehicle traveling northbound on Middletown Line stopped at the stop sign but failed to yield to a Pontiac vehicle travelling westbound on Curries Road. Both vehicles suffered extensive damage. All four parties involved in the collision were transported to an area hospital for minor injuries.
The driver of the Ford, 22 year old Larissa BROCK, from Norwich Township, ON, has been charged with:
Drive while under suspension – Highway Traffic Act
Fail to yield to traffic on through highway – Highway Traffic Act
Fail to surrender permit for motor vehicle – Highway Traffic Act
Permit use of plate not authorized for vehicle – Highway Traffic Act
Fail to apply for permit on becoming owner – Highway Traffic Act
Operate motor vehicle without insurance – Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act
