(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment has charged a male driver with a Highway Traffic Act offence following an investigation of a two vehicle collision that occurred at Dry Lake Road and Townline Road West in Cayuga, Haldimand County, Ontario.
On Friday September 30, 2016 at approximately 3:47 p.m., OPP, Haldimand County Fire Services and Haldimand County Paramedics responded to the area of Dry Lake Road and Townline Road West for a two vehicle collision where occupants of the vehicles were reported to be injured.
OPP investigation has determined that a silver Dodge Caravan was travelling eastbound on Townline Road West and collided with a blue Chrysler that was travelling southbound on Dry Lake Road.
The 42-year-old male driver and 34-year-old female passenger in the Caravan were transported to a local area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Chrysler was treated at the scene by paramedics and released.
OPP has charged 42-year-old Robert KRAUSKOPF of Hamilton, Ontario with fail to yield to through traffic under the Highway Traffic Act.
