(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On Friday, November 8, 2013, just before 4 p.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a collision involving a tractor trailer and a car on Highway 401 eastbound near Ridgetown, ON.
The collision occurred when the car, which was eastbound in the passing lane, attempted to pull into the driving lane and collided with the tractor trailer also traveling eastbound.
The driver of the car, 21 year old Khalil SALOUT from Windsor, ON, has been charged with Unsafe Lane Change, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
No injuries were sustained as a result of the collision.
