On August 12th, 2016 at approximately 11:30pm, OPP Officers responded to a single vehicle accident on Pinehill Road in the Township of Selwyn. Upon arrival police observed a male and female at the scene and a motor vehicle lying in the ditch on it’s side. The male advised police that he had been the driver of the motor vehicle. A subsequent investigation was conducted and it was determined the female had been operating the motor vehicle at the time of the accident.
Charged is:
1) Heidi Surette, age – 23 years of Selwyn Township
Section 253(1)(a) Criminal Code – Impaired Driving”
Section 253(1)(b) Criminal Code – “Over 80Mgs. of Alcohol”
