Drinking Driver Caught Speeding

(SOUTH HURON, ON) – At approximately 9:20 p.m. on March 5, 2014 a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer stopped the driver of a Ford F-150 pickup that was speeding along Crediton Road at a high rate of speed.

Upon speaking with the male driver the officer noted the driver had been drinking alcohol. A roadside test was completed and the driver registered a warn range reading. The driver, a 37 year old from Grand Bend was served with a ticket for speeding and a three day driver’s licence suspension.

His pickup truck was also towed away from the scene.
