(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – A 50 year old driver from Clifford was served with a three day driver’s licence suspension after she was stopped at a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E) checkpoint on March 20, 2015. Shortly before 10:00 p.m. a Dodge sports utility vehicle entered a R.I.D.E checkpoint located at London Road and B Line Road.
Upon speaking with the driver officers noted she had been drinking. A roadside test resulted in the driver blowing a fail. She was arrested and transported to the Huron OPP Detachment for breath tests. Upon providing her breath tests her Blood Alcohol Concentration (B.A.C) had lowered and was now in the warn range level. As a result she was released from custody and served with a three day driver’s licence suspension.
