Drinking All Day Leads to Assault, Threats and Breach Charge

Barrie Police were called to a downtown apartment in regards to a disturbance. Three parties involved had been drinking all day and an argument began over one of the individuals taking the radio and leaving into the apartment.

Eventually the others involved followed the the male with the radio to his apartment. An altercation occurred involving all parties. One of the males indicated he was going to murder the other male involved striking him at the same time. The victim sustained minor injuries. Upon arrival of police, the suspect was arrested a short time later.

A 36 yr old Barrie man was charged with assault, utter threats, and breach of probation. He was held for a bail hearing.
