(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – Last evening officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment were conducting a R.I.D.E. (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) spot check on Kawartha Lakes Road 8, just west of Fenelon Falls.
At approximately 8:40 pm a driver was found to have been drinking alcohol and after an investigation was arrested for Driving with More than 80 mg of Alcohol in 100 ml of Blood contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The driver, 39 year old Alan DRAPER of Orillia, will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on April 14, 2016.
