On Saturday, March 14th, 2015 at approximately 1:10 a.m., members of the Guelph Police observed a disturbance in the downtown area. As police intervened to break up the disturbance, one of the involved males assaulted one of the attending officers.
The officer sustained minor injuries, but was able to complete his shift.
Safak CIFTI, 21 years of Guelph, was charged with cause disturbance. He is to appear in court on May 5th, 2015.
Maclachlan RICHARDSON, 21 years of North Bay, was charged with cause disturbance and assault peace officer. He is to appear in court on May 8th, 2015.
Kayce YARDAM, 23 years of Guelph, was charged with cause disturbance and breach probation. He is to appear in court on May 8th, 2015
