On December 15, 2013 at 12:52 a.m., the Guelph Police Tactical Response Unit attended to a local business downtown to investigate a disturbance. It is alleged that a female had caused damage to a cash register and threw a pizza cutter at a male employee. During the altercation, the employee used a broom stick against the female. As a result of the investigation, both parties were arrested.
Kirsten HARGREAVES, 23 years of Guelph has been charged with mischief under $5,000 and assault with a weapon. She will appear in court on January 28, 2014.
Monir RAHMANI, 25 years of Guelph has been charged with assault with a weapon. Both parties will appear in court in February 2014. He will appear in court on February 7, 2014.
