Door To Door Sales Person Charged – Bradley Ryan COUCH

(Cavan-Monaghan Township, ON) – Just after 6:00 pm yesterday, a Millbrook resident called police after an ‘energetic’ confrontation with a door to door salesperson. The resident reports that the she arrived home to her apartment building on King Street in Millbrook, to find an unknown gentleman in her building. The man identified himself as a salesperson representing an energy company. Citing the apartment standard of no solicitation in the building, the resident asked the salesperson to leave the property.

The salesperson became outraged and kicked the front door of the building eight times before storming out of the complex and speeding away in his vehicle; further up the same road the suspect crashed into a snowbank. Additional witnesses’ report after hitting the snowbank, the male exited his vehicle and intentionally pulled a planter off a light-post where he proceeded to smash it on the ground in the middle of the street. Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated and stopped the vehicle near Mount Pleasant.

Bradley Ryan COUCH (age 30) of Cavan-Monaghan Township has been charged with Mischief under $5000. The accused is due in Peterborough Provincial Court on March 12, 2015.
