(HUNTSVILLE, ON) On August 19, 2013 just before 11:00pm Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police members were patrolling the area of Hunters Bay Drive Huntsville when they observed a 2 door Hyundai drive through a stop sign. The Hyundai was eventually stopped and the driver spoken to.
As a result of the traffic stop, the driver was found to have been drinking. Donald SMALES (46) of Huntsville was arrested and eventually charged with having more than 80mgs of alcohol per 100mls of blood. His vehicle was impounded for 7 days and he automatically receives a 90 day driver’s licence suspension. The accused will appear in Huntsville court on September 11, 2013 to answer to his charges.
