(Penetanguishene, On)- Members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched at 9:47am on November 23, 2014 to a report of a robbery at a Main Street apartment.
Officers attended the scene and spoke with a Tiny Township man who was assaulted and robbed of a sum of cash while visiting a friends apartment.
Investigators have arrested 2 males and are currently seeking a female in connection to this incident.
Charged is Donald Paul LONGWORTH 44 years of Penetanguishene with:- Robbery with a weapon section 344(1)(b)- Assault with a weapon section 267(a)- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.00 section 354(1)(a)All contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
Along with Brandon David HAMILTON 18 years of Midland with:- Robbery with a weapon section 344(1)(b)- Assault with a weapon section 267(a)- Possession of property obtained by crime section 354(1)(a)All contrary to the Criminal Code of CanadaAlong with:- Possession of a schedule 1 substance – Cocaine contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
– Failure to comply with disposition contrary to section 137 of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Both were held for a bail hearing and will be appearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Midland at a future date.
