(GODERICH, ON) The Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a theft at the Goderich Hyundai on Bayfield Road. Three new utility trailers had been stolen from the property on the evening of August 11, 2011. Officers conducted an investigation and tracks lead them to property on Bluewater Beach Road. While on the property, officers observed the stolen trailers and several marijuana plants. A warrant was obtained and the officers seized the stolen property and marijuana plants.
Donald LITTLECHILD (45) of Central Huron has been charged with one count of Possess Stolen Property under $5,000, one count of Possess Stolen Property over $5,000, one count of Production of Controlled Drugs, three counts of Breach of Probation and one count of Breach of Recognizance. He was held in custody to answer to his charges.
