(WELLINGTON NORTH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On January 19, 2015 at approximately 3:58 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers stopped a male driving a 1998 Oldsmobile for a traffic violation on Wellington Road 109 near Charles Street, Wellington North Township. During the investigation, it was revealed that the driver was a suspended driver and arrested. He was searched and officers seized suspected methamphetamine, suspected marijuana, and a knife that is condisered a prohibited weapon.
Donald HARPER age 24 of Grand Valley is charged with;
Possession of Marijuana Under 30 grams- Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (C.D.S.A.)
Possession of Methamphetamine- C.D.S.A.
Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon- Criminal Code
Drive While Under Suspension- Highway Traffic Act
He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on February 24, 2015 to answer the charges.
