(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a 61 year old man for an impaired driving offence.
On Tuesday August 12, 2014 shortly after 10:00 pm police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Valley Drive. Police determined the man had been consuming alcohol and he registered a Fail on the roadside test. He was arrested and transported for further tests.
As a result of this investigation, Donald CANFIELD of Kenora, has been charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle With More than .80 mg of Alcohol in 100 ml of Blood, contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada. He is to appear in Kenora Court on September 11, 2014 to answer to the charge.
