(North Glengarry) – On July 22nd, 2014 at approximately 6:00pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a property on Bishop Street in the Town of Alexandria, North Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that a verbal altercation had taken place between an adult male and his girlfriend resulting in the male assaulting the female and that he had also confined her in a vehicle they had travelled in refusing her the opportunity to exit.
The 33 year old male (from North Glengarry) was arrested and is charged with;
– Assault – Spousal
– Forcible Confinement
– Fail to Comply with Probation Order (2 counts)
He was held in custody pending a court appearance (bail) in Cornwall.
