(South Stormont) – On September 3, 2014 SD&G OPP began an investigation into a report of a domestic situation which occurred in the month of August 2014 at locations in the City of Cornwall and South Stormont Township. Information indicated that on two (2) occasion, an altercation between an adult male and his girlfriend resulted in the female being assaulted.
The 24 year male (from Cornwall) was arrested and is charged with;
– Assault (2 counts)
He was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on October 7, 2014.
