(Tudor-Cashel Twp, ON) – On January 24, 2014 at 10:45 p.m. Central Hastings O.P.P responded to a domestic dispute call at a residence on Weslemkoon Lake Road in Tudor-Cashel Township. The investigation revealed that during an argument a male pushed his girlfriend multiple times and damaged property belonging to her. When a relative of the victim attended the scene to offer assistance the male made a threat to burn down the relative’s house.
As a result, a 44 year old man of Peterborough, ON was arrested and charged with three counts of Assault, two counts of Mischief Under $5000 and one count of Utter Threats to Damage Property. He was subsequently held for a bail hearing.
The name of the accused is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
