Domestic Assault

Barrie Police were called to a Stanley St adress for a domestic assault in progress.

The suspect became upset over personal matters and began to slap her husband across the face.

Police attended the residence and placed the suspect under arrest for domestic assault.

As the suspect was being taken to retrieve her shoes, she kicked out at a interior door, knocking it off its hinges.

The suspect was advised of a further charge of mischief will be laid as well.

A 34 year old female is facing charges of assault and mischief.

Police believe alcohol is a factor in this incident.
