On October 25, 2013 at 9:49 pm Barrie Police officers attended an Emms Drive residence regarding a report of a domestic disturbance. Officers arrived on scene and located a male and female in there forties.
As a result of interviews police entered the back yard and observed a large amount of the female’s personal items thrown on the lawn by her husband. He refused to bring the items back into the residence and had assaulted his wife prior to police arrival.
Officers subsequently arrested the male for mischief and domestic assault. He was transported to the Barrie Police Service and held for a bail hearing.
