On the 6th of August 2014, Barrie Police responded to a north end address regarding a domestic disturbance. Officers were met by a distraught female who reported that her 35 year old estranged husband had attended her home, demanding that she give him money for his drug dependencies. When the male party was refused, he urinated in the female’s living room over her furniture. Further investigation also revealed a historic domestic assault that the male had allegedly committed on his estranged wife. The 35 year old Barrie man was subsequently arrested and charged accordingly and held at the Barrie Police Headquarters for a bail hearing.
