Dog Used In Robbery Of Pet Valu – One Hospitalized

(BRACEBRIDGE, ON) – Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) would like to thank all members of the public that assisted in an investigation into an incident that occurred at the Pet Valu store in Bracebridge on Friday, December 4th, 2015 around 1:00 p.m. during which a store employee was attacked by a patrons dog. After the attack, the patron fled from the store with his dog, taking unpaid merchandise with him. The employee was taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries.

The dog owner attended Bracebridge detachment on Saturday December 5th to address the matter. The investigation is on-going and charges are pending.
