(PETROLIA, ON) –On Thursday June 11, 2015 at 9:15 a.m., Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was dispatched to a residence in the 4000 block of Henderson Drive, Petrolia, ON regarding an attempted break and enter.
Unknown subject initially knocked on the front door of the residence, then proceeded to force the front door of the residence open, while the home owners were inside. However the unknown subject was immediately scared off when confronted by the family canine.
Lambton OPP Street Crime Unit will be assisting the Lambton OPP in investigating this incident.
Lambton OPP would like to remind the public to immediately report any suspicious persons or activity in their area to police.
