DOG OWNER CHARGED

(DRYDEN, ON.) -On April 3, 2014 just after 5pm The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Dryden detachment received a report of a dog that was running loose and had attacked a deer, injuring the deer. Officers arrived and observed an injured deer that had been put down by witnesses. Police spoke with witnesses who confirmed the deer had been attacked by a local dog. The owner of the dog James DUNLAP (23years old) of Dryden has been charged under the Fish and Wildlife Act and served a Provincial Offense Notice.
