Do You Know Where Suspected Counterfeiter Christopher Lee Pittman Is?

LONDON, ON (February 07, 2018) –Among the items seized during the execution of a search warrant at a Highbury Avenue residence on Friday, January 26, 2018, were all the materials to make counterfeit US $20, $50 and $100 bills.

As a result of the investigation by members of the London Police Service Financial Crime Unit, a warrant has been issued for the arrest of a 33-year-old London man.

Among the items seized are:

USB drive with images of US Federal Reserve $50 and $20 banknotes with various serial numbers

A suspected counterfeit $100 banknote

Security seal stamp

8.5 x 11” textured paper displaying US Federal Reserve $50, $20, and $100 banknotes

The serial numbers on the materials seized as a result of this investigation, match a number of US counterfeit $20s and $50s that have been seized recently in the London area.

Christopher Lee Pittman, 33, is charged with:

Possess counterfeit money x 2;

Making counterfeit money x 2; and

Forgery.

Pittman is also charged in relation to an investigation dating back to April of 2017, involving counterfeit Canadian Currency from the “Scenes of Canada” series.

He is charged with an additional count each of:

Possess counterfeit money; and

Making counterfeit money.
