Do Bristol Terrace Lives Matter – Apparently Reeve Vincent Says No

For years WFP and many others have attempted to get Public Works to clear both pedestrian paths on Hanna Bridge in Wingham. This inaction of Public Works forces those on Bristol Terrace to unnecessarily cross the HWY in the winter risking the lives of all pedestrians. This is done to save the taxpayers money according to reeve vincent. Apparently it was cheaper to increase our insurance coverage than clear pedestrian paths in the winter.

Failure to clear this section of sidewalk is a clear indication that reeve neil vincent places no value on the lives of those living in subsidized housing on Bristol Terrace.

Hopefully the new Head of Public Works will do his job and maintain our infrastructure, even in the winter! Just imagine! People could go for walks in the winter. Seniors could get around town on their scooters. Students could take the Community Trail to school, and wouldn’t have to walk in the road with traffic due to blocked sidewalks.
