(COLLINGWOOD, ONTARIO) Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested two people after being called to a disturbance on Simcoe Street in Collingwood overnight.
This morning, the 18th of March 2014 at approximately 1:30am, officers were called to a disturbance on Simcoe Street near Hurontario Street in Collingwood. As a result of the investigation, two parties were arrested and charged with numerous criminal charges resulting from the disturbance and subsequent arrest.
Charged are 49 year-old Sean MAXWELL of Wasaga Beach, he is facing charges of causing a disturbance, resist peace officer, assault a peace officer and two counts of uttering threats to cause bodily harm or death.
Charged as well is 52 year-old Doreen SPITERI-SHORE of Wasaga Beach, she is facing charges of obstruct peace officer, mischief under $5000 and possession of cannabis marihuana.
They are both to appear in Collingwood court on the 6th of May 2014.
