(HUNTSVILLE, ON) On Friday April 18, 2014 just before 2:00am Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police detachment members were notified of a disturbance on Church St., in the town of Huntsville. Officers arrived to find a Ford ranger leaving the driveway, and stopped the vehicle to speak to them in relation to the disturbance call.
Officers found that the driver had been drinking. Jonathan SMITH (22yrs) of Huntsville Ontario was arrested and eventually charged with driving with more than 80mgs of alcohol per 100mltrs of blood. The accused was released and will appear in Ontario Court of Justice, Huntsville on May 7, 2014 to answer to his charges. He also was issued a 90 day driver’s licence suspension and had his vehicle towed and impounded for 7 days. .
