Dirt Bike Rider Airlifted To Hospital

(CARRICK TWP, ON) – On July 13, 2014 at 2:52 am, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a crash involving a dirt bike at the intersection of Highway 9 and Concession 12 East in Carrick Township. Officers arrived to find that a Grey Chevrolet BLT was south bound on Highway 9, then turned onto Concession 12 East and was struck by a Yellow Yamaha dirt bike.

The dirt bike rider, a 26 year old Brockton man, was air lifted to hospital for treatment of life threatening injuries.

The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation unit is assisting the South Bruce OPP with this investigation.
