(Napanee, ON)- On Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 5:20 p.m. an officer with the Napanee detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police stopped a vehicle on Palace Road in Napanee after witnessing the driver cross an intersection unsafely.
The officer subsequently gave the driver a demand for a sample of his breath to which the driver refused.
25 year-old Thomas DICKERSON of Napanee was arrested and faces charges of refusing to provide a sample of his breath contrary to the Criminal Code, careless driving contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and driving a motor vehicle with liquor readily available contrary to the Liquor Licence Act.
He was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to attend Provincial Court in Napanee on April 5, 2016.
