Petawawa Man Charged
(PETAWAWA, ON) – On March 29, 2014 the Upper Ottawa Crime Unit of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) launched an investigation into a report of a sexual assault.
As a result, investigators have charged Derrick GALLAGHER, 31 of Petawawa with 8 counts of Sexual Assault and 2 counts of Voyeurism contrary to the Criminal Code.
He was arrested on Monday, March 31, 2014 and remanded into custody to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Pembroke on Friday, April 4, 2014.
Investigators, under the direction of OPP Acting Detective Inspector Peter Donnelly, Criminal Investigation Branch are releasing a photograph of the accused and his tattoos for the purposes of identification.
