(GUELPH, ON) – On November 26, 2016 at approximately 11:18 p.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Officer observed a 2003 Acura stopped on the shoulder of Highway 6 near Laird Road, Guelph. A lone male was outside his vehicle and appeared to be searching for something within the car. Suspected marihuana was observed in the car and he was placed under arrest. The man was released at the scene with court documents.
23-year-old Derrick BROWN of Guelph has been charged with Possession of Marihuana Under 30 grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and is to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on December 20, 2016.
